A ceramic artist, a pizzeria, a furniture store. Three trades with nothing in common, three online shops built with the same tool. Nobody learned to code, nobody paid an agency, and nobody gives away a commission on their sales.

Terra Nostra Céramique

Ceramic artist in Pau, France

The trade. Josy Dienot has been working with clay for over twenty years. Stoneware, porcelain, raku, terra sigillata: she throws, sculpts and fires her pieces in her studio in Pau, where she also teaches. She develops her own glazes, so much so that she wrote a 608-page book about them.

What she sells online. One-of-a-kind pieces (vases, bowls, sculptures) sorted by technique, and her book Les glaçures céramiques. A sold piece stays on display marked “Sold”: it shows the work without pretending you can still buy it.

What the shop does for her. Her pieces and her book can be bought anywhere in France, without relying on craft fairs or markets. She adds a new piece in a few minutes, straight out of the kiln.

Pizza Jeannot

Pizzeria in Vence, France

The trade. A neighbourhood pizzeria on Place Antony Mars in Vence, known for its thin crust and generous toppings.

What it sells online. The whole menu: more than a hundred items, with a choice of sauces and options for every pizza.

What the shop does for it. Customers browse the menu and order online, for takeaway or delivery. No more queuing at the counter or phoning in the middle of the dinner rush.

Diva Meubles

Turkish furniture, direct

The trade. Diva Meubles brings to France the furniture of Viev Mobilya, a Turkish maker with 8 stores in its home country, and of its Vijoy brand for children's and teen bedrooms. Furniture put together by craftsmen, with a sturdy frame and high-density foam for the sofas.

What it sells online. The whole home: complete bedroom sets (wardrobe, chest of drawers, bed, headboard), children's rooms, sofas and corner units, dining rooms, TV units, kitchens. Several hundred models, sorted by room.

What the shop does for it. No store can display hundreds of bedrooms and living rooms. Online, customers see the whole range from home, compare at their own pace, and order the model they picked.
